Park-ing

It was a crazy chilly day (wearing the down jacket), but going to the park was a must. We packed the tricycles in the van, loaded up with snacks & headed to the Bay. The girls had a blast running, sliding, climbing & swinging.

I usually carry the camera on a strap or bring a Shootsac if I needed more lenses. Many times I'll leave the camera at home because I don't want to carry a crazy bulkie bag for it. But lo and behold, I came across a Tamrac camera bag that works like a purse & having the camera along is so comfortable.

What fun photos!! Love your macro shots. I've just spent about an hour drooling over the Shootsac. That is definitely going on my wish list, can't really justify it right now, but hopefully soon. Thanks for the link.

MA these are magical shots and really show the flavor of the playground...the worn places on the toys, the lighting, little one's hat and patent shoes...just all of them hit me in such a happy way..you are so talented!

I love these photos, they make me smile! I just got a new Tamrac backpack for Christmas with a top I can use for a purse and I'm lovin' it! :)

I could go on and on about how much I love these shots, but will refrain. So fun and bright and happy and vibrant ..

I have a Shootsac and my only complaint with it is that I can't put my camera in there, unless I take off the lens (which is a pain because then I can't just grab it out to take a photo). Sniffle .. I may have to find a new bag.

hi Maryann,

The more I looked at your pictures, the more I like it. Probably you could blog about photography sometimes soon? :-)
I would really appreciate some tips to improve my photo taking ability!

My favourite is the second last shot. The girls look like they had a ball even if cold.

What lens do you have now? I am contemplating another lens as I my favourite lens is a prime 50mm but sometime I am too close for focus.
